Campaign counsel and board development.
The Knoxville Museum of Art had a short lead time to raise money for a comprehensive, multi-million dollar renovation of its landmark facility.
We provided counsel and helped coordinate the campaign’s logistics, communication strategy, and internal strategy.
The campaign exceeded the $10 million goal for the renovation of the museum’s Clayton Building and its campus. The campaign also secured the operating endowment and established an art acquisition fund.
“The Carter team knew exactly what to do. They worked with us to craft and communicate an inspiring strategic vision and develop the specific tools and tactics we needed to achieve our ambitious goals. As a result, we have a gleaming, beautifully renewed facility and significantly greater fundraising capacity … and a better and more effective organization.”
