David Butler brings the benefit of more than four decades of nonprofit management to his consulting role at Carter. Over the course of his career, David has led art museums across the country through successful major fundraising efforts and in realizing their full organizational potential, including the Knoxville Museum of Art, the Ulrich Museum of Art at Wichita State University, the Swope Art Museum, and the Emerson Gallery at Hamilton College.
