The Challenge
The Bishop Museum of Science and Nature in Bradenton, FL, embarked on a major comprehensive campaign to enhance the entire museum experience.

How Carter Helped
Carter provided counsel regarding their campaign strategy and helped develop and implement a board governance program. We then created and facilitated a strategic planning process to help The Bishop’s leadership develop their vision for the future.

The Results
The Bishop surpassed their $12 million goal, raising over $18 million. The campaign completely transformed the Museum and its campus, which has become the beacon of downtown Bradenton and now caters to people of all ages. During and following the campaign, the Museum also saw overall greater engagement from volunteer leadership – a critical component of sustaining the organization’s culture of philanthropy long-term.
