Lenora Ritchie, APR, CFRE, is an accredited communicator and fundraising professional with 30 years of experience in public relations, fund development and foundation management. A Managing Director for Carter since 2012, she was named as the company’s Vice President in April 2017.
Lenora’s work as a consultant is grounded in a career spent on both sides of the philanthropic fence – fundraising and grant-making. This experience gives her a unique perspective that she uses to help nonprofit organizations identify and leverage both human and financial resources to achieve success.

What I enjoy most when working with a partner
My role is to help board members and nonprofit executives work together to unleash their organization’s potential. I focus on creating dynamic and engaging strategic planning processes, visioning exercises and governance programs that inspire board members to embrace their pivotal role as chief advocates for the organization.
